These no bake parfaits are so easy to do and everyone will love them.
To make them for Halloween, simply add a few drops of green food coloring to the pudding. The kids would always call this the witch dessert.
You can also add some orange coloring to the vanilla pudding if you prefer to have an orange and black look to it.
If you are serving them at an adult party, I highly recommend our grape cocktail. It’s a popular cocktail drink that everyone seems to love!
No Bake Samoa Parfait Dessert Recipe
Prep: about 5 minutes
Makes: 2 to 3 parfaits
Ingredients:
- 12 Samoas cookies (you may need more depending on the size of glass and how many you are making – 12 is generally for 2-3 parfaits)
- 1 box of family size instant vanilla pudding
- 3 cups of milk
- 2-3 drops of green food coloring (omit if want the pudding part to remain white)
Since this recipe only makes 2-3 parfaits, if you want to make more, just double or triple the recipe.
How to make the Girl Scout Cookie Dessert
Step 1: Whisk together the pudding mix and milk. Whisk for about 2 minutes until pudding thickens. (Just like the instructions on the instant pudding box says to do)
Step 2: To layer the no bake Samoa parfaits, we are going to spoon some pudding into the bottom of the parfait cup.
Step 3: Then we add some broken (or you can crush them) Samoas cookies as the next layer.
Step 4: Lastly, we will layer in more pudding and top it off with the extra Samoas cookies.
Once the parfaits are put together you can eat them or you can refrigerate them until you are ready to use.
We like to have them chilled so we will place them in the fridge for a few hours. If you are serving them for a party, you can make them the night before and keep them covered in the fridge until the party.
This is a fantastic way to use the leftover cookies in a nice dessert for after dinner.
